Users
Users of the system can be Reps, Administrators and Managers |
Users can have their own access levels and sign-ons. Reps are limited to view their data only. Security can be modified for each individual. Individuals can be allowed to enter data such as customers or transactions, or allowed only to view data.
The Administrator role is generally in charge of managing the commission application and making commissions get calculated and paid.

Security
Data is encrypted and secure |
All customer data is encrypted while communicating over the web using strong encryption technologies. Users can access only with authenticated email addresses and passwords. |
Transactions
Sales and other data can be entered into the system. |
Various kinds of transactions can be entered in the system including Sales. Typical transactional data can be Sales Orders, Invoices, Payments, Appointments Made, Premiums, etc.
Adjustment transactions can be entered. |
Sales Credit
A sale can be credited to a rep using rules. |
Sales are entered as transactions in the system. A credit rule can be established to decide which rep gets credit for the sale. The rules can be: a) Sales to Customer ABC always get credited to Rep Randy Brown. b) Sales of Product Nuts always get credited to Rep Jane Green. |
Split Credit and Override
A sale can be credited to multiple people using rules. |
Any transaction can be credited to two people. It can be credited to two sales people or to a rep and a manager. A percentage of the sales amount can be credited to each person. It can also be treated as an override with both individuals getting 100% credit. |
Flat Commissions
A flat commission rate can be used for a Rep. |
Each rep can be set to have their own commission rate(s). Commission rates can be a flat % of performance or can be a flat amount. |
Varying Commission rates
Commission rates can verify by product or customer. |
Commission rates can be set to be different by product or customer, by setting appropriate commission rules.
Commission rates can be flexibly decided by using Excel like calculation formulas. |
Customer Information
Customer information can be maintained in the system. |
Customer data such as contact information can be maintained in the system. |
Commission Calendar
Commissions can be paid at different period frequencies. |
Commissions can be paid at various frequencies: weekly, bi-weekly, twice-monthly, monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.
Once a period is completed, the transactions are closed and will not create duplicate commissions. |
Commission Statements
Commission statements show all detail calculations. |
There is a commission statement for each rep for each period. It shows all the detailed commission calculations. Historical commission statements will be maintained in the system. |
